First-of-its-kind loan origination office opens in the heart of Newtown


St. Petersburg-based First Home Bank celebrated the expansion of its local presence in Sarasota and opened its first Loan Origination Office (LPO) and financial resource center in the heart of the Newtown community in north of Sarasota.

To lead these efforts, First Home Bank has hired Sarasota residents Carlos Yancy and Joe McKenzie as business development specialists. Both will also join the Bank’s PEACE (Providing Equal Access to Credit Envoy) team, a team of residential mortgage experts dedicated to tackling inequality and better meeting the needs of minority and low-income borrowers. low to moderate income at each stage of the home buying process.
