Uploaded yesterday, May 19, the controversial prank claimed that due to Nintendo’s ties to Saudi Arabia, the company would no longer allow its female characters to drive on Mario Kart.
Hard Drive even went so far as to attribute fake quotes to Nintendo President Doug Bowser in an attempt to make his joke more believable.
The piece was presumably a dig at Nintendo, which announced this week that 5% of its company was owned by Saudi Arabia.
